Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Packslet (the "Service"). By creating an account or using Packslet, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Accounts

Teachers must create an account to use most features of Packslet. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information, including your name, school, and email address, when registering.

Student Use

Students may join games and assignments using a nickname without creating their own account. Teachers are responsible for supervising student use of the Service and for ensuring their use complies with their school's policies and applicable law, including FERPA. Packslet reserves the right to remove any nickname or content that is inappropriate, including profanity or attempts to impersonate others.

Subscriptions & Payment

Packslet offers free and paid ("Pro") subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

Content & Ownership

You retain ownership of the question packs, assignments, and other content you create ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant Packslet a limited license to host, store, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate the Service. Packslet retains all rights to the Service itself, including its software, design, and branding.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Upload content that is abusive, obscene, or infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Use the Service to collect personal information from students beyond a nickname

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your account and associated data. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Packslet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
