How to create review practice from a report
Generate new questions for your class's learning gaps, then save them as a question pack or download a worksheet.
Packslet uses questions students struggled with in a report to create new practice questions. You can save the questions as a new question pack or download them as a printable worksheet.
Note: AI insights and Create review practice require Packslet Pro. The report needs an AI summary and at least one question students struggled with. See How to upgrade to Packslet Pro.
- Open a report and find Summary. If you see Analyzing class performance…, wait for the analysis to finish. If analysis fails, click Retry.
- Read Review focus to understand the suggested area for review, then click Create review practice. The new questions draw on all questions students struggled with in the report, with more attention to those missed more often. See How to read a report for help interpreting the results.
- Under Number of new questions, choose between 1 and 20. The default is 10. Click Generate and keep the page open while Packslet creates the questions; this can take a few minutes.
- Under Review your questions, check each new question, its four answer choices, and the marked correct answer for accuracy and suitability. You can edit the wording and choices and select a different correct answer. All questions are selected initially; clear a question's checkbox or use Deselect all and Select all to choose which to include. Keep at least one question selected.
- Choose how to use the selected questions:
- To make a new private question pack, enter a Pack title and choose a Subject and Grade level under Save as a pack, then click Save as pack. The title starts with the original pack's name followed by “— Review.” Subject and grade level are filled in from the original pack when available. Packslet opens the new pack after saving, ready to host as a game or assign.
- To print the questions, click Download worksheet. Open the downloaded PDF and review it before printing. It includes question pages and an Answer Key.
Saving creates a separate question pack; downloading a worksheet does not save a pack. Neither choice changes the original question pack. The window closes after either action, so reopen Create review practice if you want to generate another set.
