How to import a Quizlet set

Learn how to export a Quizlet flashcard set, preview it in Packslet, and import the cards into a question pack.

Note: Quizlet only lets you export sets you created yourself, and exporting is only available on the Quizlet website.

  1. Visit packslet.com and click the Login button.
  2. Create a new question pack or open an existing pack. No question pack yet? See How to create a question pack or How to find a question pack.
  3. If the pack is empty, click Import from Quizlet in the question area. If the pack already contains questions, open the three-dot menu near the pack title and select Import from Quizlet.
  4. In Quizlet, select Your library, choose Flashcard sets, and open the set you want to import.
  5. Open the more menu () and select Export. See Quizlet's official guide to exporting sets for additional help.
  6. Set Between term and definition to Tab and Between rows to New line, then select Copy text.
  7. Return to Packslet and paste the copied text into Paste your set. You can import up to 100 cards at a time.
  8. If your Quizlet terms should be the answers instead of the questions, turn on Flip questions and answers.
  9. To have Packslet write plausible wrong answers for each card, turn on Generate AI distractors. This is a Pro feature. If you leave it off, Packslet creates wrong choices using answers from the other cards in the set.
  10. Click Preview questions. If you enabled AI distractors, this may take a minute; do not refresh the page while Packslet is working.
  11. Review the questions and answer choices. All questions are selected by default. Clear the checkbox beside any question you do not want to import, or use Deselect all and choose questions individually.

Tip: If Packslet reports that a line could not be read, return to the pasted text and check that each card is on a separate line with a tab between its term and definition. If your set contains more than 100 cards, import the remaining cards in a second paste.

  1. Click Import number to pack to add the selected questions to your question pack. You can use the Edit button beside any imported question to revise it afterward.
